What are the best times for a Performance?
Closeup magic is very flexible and can really enhance a wedding celebration. After six years of performing professionally I recommend the following.
Option 1: During the Photos/Reception
The Photos are traditionally taken immediately after the ceremony, before the kids have a chance to get messy! Many guests are not involved with the majority of the photos and this is the ideal time for a close-up Magician to perform!
Option 2: During The Wedding Breakfast
As guests settle down for the meal, it is inevitable that there will be people at the table that don't know anyone else seated there. A Magician can entertain with a short show at each table and provide that initial talking point that is often required to get people chatting! The Magician works in-between the courses and leaves when the speeches begin.
Option 3: The Evening Reception
After the speeches have finished and the effects of the wine are starting to kick in, the evening guests start to arrive for the evening reception. A Magician can provide close-up magic for guests as they appear, before the music gets into full swing.
